Ascentis ESOL Skills for Life qualifications are designed specifically for people living in Britain and focus on preparing learners for everyday life, further education and the world of work.

The primary aim is to assist the learner in becoming independent of other people such as interpreters or translators when interacting with English speakers in a work environment and elsewhere.

By improving their communication and fluency in English, learners will significantly improve their employability skills and their ability to fully participate in every part of life in Britain beyond their local community.

These qualifications cover a range of digital skills to suit learners at different levels, from getting started with a basic understanding of how to use a computer to developing skills to fulfil specific IT-based roles.

Our Entry 3 to Level 1 qualifications are designed to help learners get started with a basic understanding of how to use a computer, use software and get online safely.

The Ascentis Level 2 Certificate in Digital Skills for Business focuses on the learner’s ability to further develop the digital skills required to participate in employment within a business setting.

MUSIC TUITION

Upskilled and happy

Music education holds significant importance within the African French-speaking community for several reasons. First and foremost, it plays a critical role in cultural preservation. Music is a vital part of African heritage, and teaching it helps ensure that traditional songs, rhythms, and instruments are passed down through generations, keeping cultural identities and histories vibrant. Additionally, music education supports language learning by enhancing pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension in both French and local languages. The engaging and memorable nature of songs and melodies makes learning new languages more effective. Furthermore, engaging in music education boosts cognitive abilities, including memory, attention, and problem-solving skills, contributing to better academic performance across various subjects.
